Be aware of the following product recall. LG Electronics Alabama, Inc. has issued a product recall for three models of their portable air conditioners. The LG Portable Air Conditioners Models are LP0711WNR, LP0812WNR and LP0814WNR have been recalled due to fire and burn hazards.
This recall involves LG brand Portable Air Conditioners purchased between February 2011 and August 2016. The sales price for these portable air conditioners ranged from was $250.00 to $280.00 each.
If you or your residents have one of these portable air conditioning units you should stop using them immediately and contact LG to schedule a Free Repair.
