The Illinois Real Estate Investors Association is a “For Profit” corporation domiciled in the State of Illinois.
The goals of the Illinois Real Estate Investors Association: To offer a quality education in all aspects of real estate investing. Encourage our students to seek and acquire the Professional Housing Provider (PHP) designation.
The PHP designation is authorized and issued by the National Real Estate Investors Association (National REIA). National REIA administers the PHP program through its member Chapters. The Illinois Real Estate Investors Association is a Chapter of National REIA.

The Illinois Real Estate Investors Association understands that the ownership and management of real estate is a highly regulated. Real Estate Investing comprises a major segment of the free enterprise system of the United State of America. As such, the members of the Illinois Real Estate Investors Association must treat this enterprise with the utmost professionalism.
Members of the Illinois Real Estate Investors Association desire to expand their knowledge of real estate investing and property management.

Our members desire to pursue these ends in a legal and ethical manner. All members of the Illinois Real Estate Investors Association will be held to a higher standard of ethical behavior. This includes, but is not limited to the following list of behaviors: Property Management, Real Estate Acquisition, Rental Property Ownership, Rental Property Management, Tenant Screening, Flipping and Wholesaling.
Our Members will act as positive role models for the professions of real estate investing and housing providers when dealing with tenants, the public, the media, government officials, and all others.
ILLINOIS REIA members should keep themselves informed on matters affecting housing in their community, including local, state, and federal laws.
No member will not intentionally misrepresent any material fact in their business dealings.
ILLINOIS REIA members will create safe and sanitary housing.
ILLINOIS REIA Members agree to disclose any and all known information about any property that may adversely affect the property value. Including facts that may cause the buyer any present or future hardship.
Our members will never market any property that they do not have legal control.
ILLINOIS REIA members will always seek the counsel of professionals for any issue in which they are not well versed.
ILLINOIS REIA members will be responsible to complete their own due diligence in all business dealings and will encourage others to do the same.
