June 2016 National REIA Mid Year Leadership Conference. Illinois REIA earned two of the coveted “Awards of Excellence – Honors of Merit” awards. These are annual awards presented each June at the National REIA Midyear Leadership Conference.
The Awards of Excellence are an annual event and participants participate in 6 categories called the Honors of Merit.
The six classes available for Honors of Merit are as follows:
- Government Affairs
- Community Service
- Communications
- Membership Development
- Education
- Strategic Industry Partner Marketing
For 2016 Illinois REIA won in the categories of Membership Development and Strategic Industry Partner Marketing at the 2016 National REIA Midyear Leadership Conference..
Illinois REIA gives a tip of the hat to the following groups that were the 2016 overall winners for groups in their size.
The 2016 National REIA Midyear Leadership Conference Awards of Excellence overall winners for small, medium and large Real Estate Investor associations were:
- Small Group – North Metro Real Estate Investors Association, GA
- Medium Group – Traction Real Estate Investors Association, VA & MD
- Large Group – Arizona Real Estate Investors Association, AZ
2017 National REIA Midyear Leadership Conference
National REIA is holding their Midyear Leadership conference from June 15th to the 17th , 2017. This event is open to everyone. This year to be held at the Sheraton Austin Hotel at the capital in Austin, Texas.
Every PHP student who has completed the requirements for the course has earned the right to have their designation conferred upon them on the main stage in front of hundreds of investors from all over the country.
